The one shown in this preview handles pushing & syncing data between a custom web-based API and the QuickBooks Desktop application. It’s built and designed to be distributed to dozens of users; it contains many settings and options to allow it to adapt to different QuickBooks configurations depending on the user’s specific business needs.

ASP.NET C# Programming

I have extensive experience working in different types of ASP.NET C# environments. I have worked on all types of projects from cloud hosted environments on Azure to shared hosted MVC and Web Forms projects. I have authored thousands of lines of code to build controls like custom vacation calendars and responsive admin dashboards (example left), custom automatic eCommerce subscription systems and much more.

PHP Application Development

Digital Funeral Services is a custom web application built on the Wordpress framework. It provides a web portal for funeral directors to create and manage digital signage & digital funeral registration information. The digital signage feature is entirely custom built by myself and features a responsive sign that will display on devices such as smart TV’s, computer monitors or tablets. The application relies heavily on Javascript to operate smoothly on the front-end while implementing a PHP data access layer and a custom built MySQL database as well as a custom built AJAX connection to a remote FileMaker database.

Custom Business Application Development

I have many years of experience working with my clients to scope out and build complex business applications that work for their needs and solve their unique business problems. This includes custom dashboard features to track metrics like customer information (as shown in the image-left) as well as custom data solutions that keep data organized and safe in the back end.

Custom MINDBODY Registration Form

This project entailed building a custom registration form for Chicago Human Rhythm Project that was used by CHRP’s clients to register events, purchase t-shirts and securely pay with their credit card. Payment processing took place through MINDBODY Online‘s secure SOAP API. I have continued to work with CHRP to help them build additional custom forms like this one.

Buzinga App Payment Gateway Consultation

I have 4+ years of payment gateway development experience and I also work as a consultant in this field. This specific project was for Buzinga App Development, a company out of Australia who hired me to help advise them on the best practices and techniques for building secure and stable payment gateway solutions. The payment gateways I worked with on this project included PayPal and BrainTree Payments but I have worked with dozens more in my career as a eCommerce programmer.

SharpSpring to Mindbody Data Integration

This project was built for ACXSystem and required data from their SharpSpring account to be automatically pushed over to their MINDBODY Online account via the SharpSpring and MINDBODY API’s. I completed this project in PHP and have since setup additional integrations for ACXSystem.

I graduated from Lewis University in 2012 with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in philosophy. I’ve always loved to spend time thinking through difficult problems which is what led me to Computer Science in the first place. I work full time for a local eCommerce web development company and I frequently take on side-work in order to stay ahead of the curve. No problem is too difficult for me to solve and I cherish the time spent on projects which expand my ever-growing knowledge of web development.
